Handcrafted on the edge of wild and mystical Dartmoor, I use ancient and modern techniques to create jewellery with soul and earthy aesthetics. Each piece is made in my Devon studio, shaped slowly, by hand.
Inspired by ancient cultures, folklore, mythology, and the magic all around us, Relic is designed to hold meaning.
My heritage is a layered blend of cultures, a background that directly shapes my work and the Relic aesthetic. And so I am drawn to themes and symbols that cross cultures and barriers.
Those ancient ideas that remain constant regardless of geography truly fascinate me.
Language Beyond Words
Jewellery has been part of human existence before civilisation, before cities, before the written word. The burial sites of our prehistoric ancestors reveal an ancient gift economy of polished stone and shell.

Prehistoric finds include jewellery made from bones, minerals, shells and stone. Throughout history and to the present day, jewellery has served spiritual, social, protective, and transcendental purposes.
Crystals and precious metals have been used for thousands of years as powerful totemic objects and devices that could help humans communicate and connect on a higher plane.
Talismans and Amulets
❖ Talisman: A talisman is a piece of jewellery that is specifically chosen or created to bring about certain outcomes or energies. The word "talisman" can be traced back to the ancient Greek telein, which means "to initiate into the mysteries.”
A talisman is believed to hold special powers and often serves as a conduit for bringing about personal transformations, desires, or protection.
❖ Amulet: While similar to talismans, amulets have a slightly different purpose. Amulets are traditionally worn for protection. Their purpose is to ward off negative energies, bad luck, or evil forces.
