Shipping policy

At Relic Jewellery, every piece begins its journey with love and intention — and we want its arrival to feel just as smooth and supported. While anticipation is part of the magic, we also know you don’t want to wait too long. We keep our shipping process clear, reliable, and easy to follow.

We offer complimentary Tracked Shipping on all UK orders—our gift to you for the journey.

Production Time

Some pieces require time to be crafted, finished, and/or hallmarked with care.

Please allow the timeframe stated on each product listing or on our FAQs page for:

Made-to-order jewellery

Personalised items

Pieces requiring hallmarking

These timelines ensure your jewellery is completed to the highest standard before it begins its journey to you.

Dispatch Time

Once your order is ready, we typically ship within 2–3 business days.

You’ll receive a dispatch notification as soon as your parcel is on its way.

Delivery Timeframes

United Kingdom
Estimated delivery: 1–2 business days after dispatch.

International Orders
Delivery times vary depending on your location and local customs processes.
Most international orders arrive within 1–2 weeks.

Please note that customs delays — while uncommon — can extend this timeframe and are unfortunately outside our control.

Customs, Duties & Import Fees

If you are ordering from outside the UK, your country may charge:

Customs duties

VAT or sales tax

Handling or processing fees (charged by your local courier/postal service)

Unless you are in the US, these charges are not included in your order total and are the responsibility of the customer.

We strongly recommend checking your country’s import rules before purchasing so you know exactly what to expect. Relic Jewellery cannot be held responsible for taxes, customs fees, or charges applied by the destination country.

  1. Customer Responsibility: For all orders shipped outside of the United Kingdom, the customer is the 'Importer of Record.' Any and all import duties, value-added taxes (VAT), customs clearance fees, and brokerage charges are the sole responsibility of the customer.
  2. Payment of Fees: These fees are determined by the destination country's customs authority and are typically collected by the courier prior to or at the time of delivery. Relic has no control over these charges and cannot predict their amount.
  3. Refused Shipments: In the event that a customer refuses a shipment due to unpaid customs fees, the package will be returned to Relic. In such cases:
    • The original shipping fee is non-refundable.
    • Any return shipping costs or "Return to Sender" fees charged by the courier will be deducted from the customer's refund.
    • The refund will only be processed once the item has been returned and its pristine condition verified.
  4. Customs Delays: Relic is not responsible for delays caused by the customs clearance process in the destination country.

For Customers in the United States

We want your Relic’s journey to be as seamless as possible. For all orders shipped to the United States, we now offer Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) shipping.

  • No Surprise Fees: All applicable import duties and taxes are calculated and collected at checkout.
  • Total Transparency: The price you pay at checkout is the final "landed" price. You will not be charged any additional customs or handling fees upon delivery.

For Other International Customers (DDU):
For orders to other international destinations (such as Canada or Bermuda), duties and taxes are not collected at checkout. These remain the responsibility of the customer and may be collected by your local courier upon arrival. We recommend checking your local import rules to understand any potential costs.
