Are all pieces handcrafted?

Yes, every piece is crafted by hand, meaning you will find the subtle marks of the tools, organic edges, and the beautiful "flaws" that occur during the artisanal process. These aren't defects; they are the soul of the piece. Relic pieces are intentionally designed to carry a soulfulness and a beauty that comes with imperfection and a time-worn aesthetic. If you are looking for machine-made or perfect symmetry, it might not be for you. But if you seek a piece that feels ancient, raw, and unique, you are in the right place! 

Where do you ship? 

Currently shipping is available to the UK, USA, Canada, and Bermuda. Other destinations may be added in future. 

(And UK shipping is on us! Complimentary tracked shipping for all UK orders.)

How long does it take to dispatch my order?

Ready Made Orders: Ready to ship items are typically dispatched within 1-4 working days of purchase.

Please note this will not apply to the dispatch of any Made to Order items or items that require Hallmarking, as they need to be made and/or hallmarked first. Please See below.

Made To Order: These items are made as efficiently as possible, and are typically dispatched within 1-7 working days of purchase. Handmade items can take many hours to create and the process of handcrafting a piece is honoured at Relic. As each piece is handcrafted, there may be minor differences which make your piece unique as a result of true artisanal workmanship. 

Hallmarking: If an item needs to be hallmarked then this can add another additional week to the process. Please see the hallmarking page for more information.

Who will deliver my order?

Tracked Royal Mail services are used to ship within the UK. This will be 24 or 48 hour delivery. 

Royal Mail also handles international deliveries. Delivery typically takes 1–2 weeks, though this can vary due to local customs processes.
  • For US Customers: We now offer Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) shipping to the United States. All import duties and taxes are calculated and collected at checkout, meaning your order will arrive at your door with no surprise customs duties to pay upon delivery.
  • For Canada & Bermuda: Any international customs duties, taxes, or handling charges remain the customer's responsibility and are collected locally on arrival in your destination country.

What packaging do you use? 

Your piece(s) will come in a beautiful custom made box with the gorgeous Relic logo embossed on the top. It will be tied up with a lovely up-cycled sari silk ribbon in a neutral colour.

Relic is proud to use eco-friendly packaging as much as possible. The jewellery gift boxes are FSC certified and recyclable (except for the insert). Biodegradable and recyclable postal boxes are also used, as well as eco-friendly filling to keep your items safe while being transported. Any cards or paper items included with your order are printed on recycled and recyclable paper. Read more about Sustainability here.
