The Story:

Interweaving two thousand years of history with elements of earth and sea, these drop earrings channel feminine strength while bringing deep balance and grounded protection. They are the gemstone version of the Boudica Double Moon Earrings.

This design carries the exact imprint of an ancient Iceni Tribe coin from my private collection, bearing a double crescent moon motif that has echoed through time for millennia.

To the Celts, the moon was a powerful guide, representing the strength needed for times of transition.

Suspended below one coin is a black lava bead and under the other, a rectangular-biwa freshwater pearl.

Black lava is forged by the subterranean fires of the natural world: as the magma cools, it forms into a porous, cratered element carrying the protective energy of volcanic earth.

In contrast, the freshwater pearl evokes the coolness of the sea. Formed layer by layer in a shell, over many years, these rectangular-biwa shapes vary in how they were formed, and are not perfect rectangles— they are organic in their rectangular shapes, have a rich organic texture and an beautiful iridescent lustre.

These earrings are simply gorgeous, wear them to tap into thousands of years of feminine power and elemental energy.
