The Details: 

❖ Solid recycled eco sterling silver (.925), hallmarked

❖ Oxidised or brushed silver finish

❖ Approximately 23 mm x 31 mm (including bail)

The Making:

I sculpted this piece using the lost wax method, before it was cast in silver. This is an ancient process, thousands of years old. I hand-carved the crescent moon with a focus on rugged lunar textures, and then added the burst of starlight line by line. The aesthetic evokes the feeling of a discovered treasure.
